E-Waste Recycling in Dallas-Fort Worth

Free electronic waste pickup and responsible recycling for DFW businesses. Servers, computers, networking gear, hard drives, and more — picked up at no cost.

What Is E-Waste?

Electronic waste — or e-waste — is any discarded electronic device, from servers and workstations to network switches, hard drives, monitors, and the tangle of cables that come with them. It is the fastest-growing waste stream in the world, and North Texas is no exception. Between cloud migrations, hardware refreshes, office consolidations, and the steady churn of leased equipment, Dallas-Fort Worth businesses retire thousands of tons of IT gear every year.

The problem is that e-waste is both hazardous and valuable. Retired electronics contain lead, mercury, and flame retardants that do not belong in a landfill, but they also contain copper, aluminum, steel, gold, and reusable components that belong back in the supply chain. Getting disposal right means keeping the hazardous material out of the ground and keeping the recoverable material in circulation — which is exactly what a professional e-waste recycler is built to do.

Why DFW Businesses Choose Local E-Waste Recycling

Hauling retired IT equipment to a municipal drop-off is not a realistic option for most Dallas-Fort Worth companies. A single server rack, a closet full of retired laptops, or a decade's worth of accumulated storage does not fit in the back of a sedan — and the liability of loose drives being driven around town is not something a responsible IT or facilities lead wants to take on. Working with a local B2B e-waste specialist is simply a better fit for how businesses actually operate.

GreenIT Pickup was built specifically for the DFW metroplex. We know the buildings, the loading docks, the freight elevators, and the traffic windows. We bring the right vehicle for the job, whether that is a single pallet of laptops from a Plano startup or a full floor of gear from a downtown Dallas tower. Pickups are free for qualifying businesses, scheduling is usually within the same week, and every item that leaves your site is logged on an asset list so you have a clean paper trail for finance and audit.

Built for Business

B2B only, with minimum pickup quantities, volume tiers, and flexible scheduling designed around business operations — not consumer drop-offs.

Reuse-First Processing

Equipment with remaining value is refurbished and resold through our resale channels. Only what cannot be reused goes to downstream material recovery.

Data Handled With Care

Storage media may be overwritten, reformatted, or physically destroyed as an operational courtesy so retired drives do not go back into circulation with your data on them.
