Do you pick up switches and routers for free?

Yes, when the business load qualifies. Qualification depends on equipment type, model family, quantity, condition, location, and pickup logistics. Send photos for a case-by-case answer.

Should we erase configurations first?

Yes. Remove active configurations, local credentials, API keys, certificates, VPN material, license assignments, and cloud-controller ties before releasing network devices. Tell us about any internal storage media that requires separate sanitization or destruction.

Can access points and optics be included?

Yes, they can be evaluated with a qualifying network-equipment load. Keep modules, power supplies, rails, controller hardware, and access points grouped by model family when practical.

Do cables qualify for their own pickup?

Usually not. Neatly bundled copper and fiber cabling can often ride along with an approved equipment load, but cable-only projects are evaluated separately.

Can you remove equipment from racks?

What happens to older network hardware?

Usable equipment is evaluated for reuse. Material without a practical reuse path is routed for parts or material recovery. The actual path depends on model, age, condition, demand, and downstream requirements.
